Privacy Policy for Happy Catechism

This Privacy Policy describes how the Happy Catechism mobile application ("the App," "we," "us," or "our") handles information. Happy Catechism is published by Christopher Bradley Wood.

Short version: Happy Catechism does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal information about you. Your progress is saved only on your device.

Information We Do Not Collect

We do not collect any of the following:

• Your name, email address, phone number, or any other contact information
• Your location
• Your device identifiers (IDFA, advertising ID, or similar)
• Usage analytics, crash reports, or telemetry beyond what Apple provides to developers in aggregate form
• Any information that could identify you personally

Happy Catechism does not require an account. You do not sign in, register, or provide any information to use the App.

Information Stored on Your Device

To make the App work, a small amount of information is saved locally on your device only. This includes:

• Your experience points (XP), rank, and badges
• Your completed floors and daily streak count
• The date you last completed a daily devotion

This information never leaves your device. It is not transmitted to us or to any third party. If you delete the App, this information is deleted along with it.

Third-Party Services

The App does not use any third-party analytics, advertising, tracking, or crash-reporting services. The App does not contain third-party SDKs that collect user data.

Advertising and Tracking

The App contains no advertising and does not track you across other apps or websites owned by other companies. The App does not use the App Tracking Transparency framework because it has nothing to track.

Children's Privacy

Happy Catechism is suitable for users of all ages, including children. Because the App does not collect any personal information from any user, it does not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in the relevant jurisdiction).

Data Security

Because no personal data is collected or transmitted, there is no risk of interception in transit. Any data stored locally on your device is protected by the security features of your device's operating system.

Your Rights

Because we do not collect or store your personal information on any server, there is no personal data for us to access, correct, or delete. You can remove all locally stored app data at any time by deleting the App from your device.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The latest version will always be available at the URL where you are reading it now. Material changes will be noted by updating the "Effective date" at the top of this page.
